Finished up posting what I had done in the 2017 RAM, replaced the Alpine amplifier, replaced the stock speakers, and sub.
I have tested with multiple amplifiers and speakers and the goal is to provide and upgraded system for as cheap as possible while making the installation as easy as possible. This is perfect if your factory amplifier is going out or you are simply looking to upgrade, if your speakers need to be replaced or you are looking for better quality than what the Alpine system comes with and if you are a DIYer that doesn't want to have to pay a whole lot for the installation or wish to save time on your own installation.
The following components were used:
- NVX 4-channel amplifier
- AmplinQ module with T-harness, and Skar Audio speakers with custom fitted speaker adapters.
Since the recording of this video I have switched the brands of speakers and sub but nothing has changed with the installation.
The radio is still the factory 8.4" inch Alpine radio.

- 2 ohm: 400 watts x 1 channel
