I just got mine on this weekend and I have to agree they are pretty awesome. I love the LED light strip instead of the lights. Way better idea!!

Anyone know if you can set it up so the steps fold out when the unlock botton is pressed from the key fab AND when the doors open? It'd be nice to have them already down in some cases when your in a rush or something.

not sure if that can be done but they only take a sec or two to come down once you open the door

It's pretty hard to try and beat the steps coming down.. Before your door opens completely, the steps are down

1300 bucks is a pretty good price.. I bought mine from 4 wheel parts for around 1450 or so.. they are pricey but man, they are so worth every penny..

Bought mine from AutoAnything for around $1300. Agree that they are worth every penny

I got lucky and found mine locally preowned then I called the company for a new hardware kit and bought it directly from them excellent customer service btw I did not get the plug and play kit i hardwired them total cost with new hardware paid 700. and they work flawlessly but with anything pre owned use your own discretion and insure complete functionality before purchasing

Only down side with the AMPs, in my opinion, is the mud that builds up when "playing" in the mud. I don't get this when driving down dirt roads or anything, just when my inner white trash comes out.

Nothing a pressure washer can't fix. Silly, but just an FYI.

This is a very good point to consider! Never thought about that.

I never realized that until the snow storm we just had... couple hours of driving in the white stuff and my rails were full when I opened the doors

I've Never had any issues in snow or ice they do their job and worked great after the snow I hose them off spray they hinges with a little silicone lubricant and go about my way one of my most favorite of the items added to my truck to date

Exactly this... no issues with functionality of them what so ever, theyll compact some decent amount of snow... a quick little hose down and I'm back to clean
