amp turn on and constant power

where is everyone taping their amp turn on wires into and the constant for their locs? I bought the fuse taps that go into the fuse panel, I got the smallest ones I could find and they do not fit. Apparently the fuses are even smaller than the fuse taps I could find. So I think I am going to hardwire them, so where and what wires is everyone tapping into?

if its the remote wire that you are talking about i tapped mine into the cigarette lighter.
