Does anyone know or have disconnected ANC in 2022 RAM 1500 Laramie with Harman Kardon Stereo.? I have contacted manufacturere of bypass harness AAMP Global (PAC ANC-CH01), I was told it will not work if vechicle has factory installed Amplifier. Mine acts up in winter and driving me crazy. Any help will be appreciated.

Put 5thgenrams[dot]com in place of the asterisks (for some reason this forum doesn't like the 5thgenrams forum ).

Gotta love modern engineering. If you wonder why the average new vehicle costs $50,000 this is part of the reason.

Instead of adding a little more insulation to help reduce NVH the manufacturer puts in $1000 of electronic junk to have the factory stereo system listen for undesirable noises and emit sound at a frequency to cancel them out.

Yeah, I totally concur. I am researching audio system mods in my truck (2019 Longhorn with H/K system) and this ANC disabling stuff is somewhat ludicrous. I think they coulda solved 99% of the NVH issue with something like Dynamat, which would have been virtually trouble-free and never subject to recalls, lol.
