With alpha, it's not just light fix, it's an investment. You get a easy to toggle options that didn't come on your truck, fix issues like the lamp out problem, not nedding a cheap resister that can possibly overheat she catch fire. You also end up with a very nice obd2 code reader.

Installed hid,s on my truck and when cooler in mornings my hid,s would flicker repeatedly till warmed up when below 50 degree,s outside when temps was in 30,s they would random flicker on my trip in to work also I already had Alpha so looking through settings I found a setting for HID,s yes or no turned that setting to yes and they have been flawless since then. Plus found a setting to turn off seat belt warning buzzer I wear seat belt but camping driving through campgrounds, p lot,s belt comes off at check in and the seat belt warning is a pita now no more. The light still lights on dash but no more ding ding ding. I purchased Alpha to reset tire threshold but have found it so much more useful since. plus with Alpha there is no need for me to have to pull out my big scanner to check codes when they show up down the road.

This. Can also change the settings for different gear/ tire sizes. There's a forum section on AlfaOBD that's worth checking out :)
