So I have had lifter failure. I bought an MDS delete kit, new lifters, cams, timing chain, seals, tuner etc.... With the impending Apocalypse over the COVID virus leaving me out of work, i figured what the hell, maybe i should upgrade while im in there. So im thinking of exchanging the cam I have for a more aggressive one. My concern is getting too much lift and exceeding the airflow "sweet spot" from the heads or getting all the gains in the upper RPM range and very minimal gains on the low end. I tow a boat and use it as a daily driver mainly. Just kind of makes sense that now is the time to do any upgrades as it is the most cost effective and during some already planned down time. Thoughts on cam? springs? and other upgrades. I also plan on swapping fans for a 2012 ram v6 electric fan.

2014 Ram 1500 express 5.7L
Kit I have: https://www.amsracing.net/collectio...uning-package-for-2009-2015-5-7l-hemi-engines

Thanks for any advice!!

Check with Moe's, Hemifever, Jay Greene or Flyin Ryan on cam kits, custom grinds, and recommended upgrades from your existing kit. Talk with each on what you want out of your upgrade and tune.
