Hey guy's. I will have to admit this is my first forum I have joined. I tried to find the answer to this question in past forums, but no luck. I have a 2015 Sport Crew Cab. My driver front tire shows a dash/line. I just had 4 new tires put on and the guys there said the part in the tire was fine, it has to be whatever reads its signal inside of the truck. I have looked up behind the headlights, on the back cab wall, under my seats, and I don't have the panel behind my driver seat because I have the little storage compartments in the floor boards. People at doge took my VIN and told me....Behind the driver seat...wasn't alot of help. Let me know if someone else has any suggestions for me. I work a **** ton so I may be slow on responses. Thanks again and you all have some amazing looking rides!

Personally I would still say that the TPMS sensor for that one tire is bad. If the truck itself can still read the other three tires then it should be able to read the fourth. I would get a 2nd opinion on the no read sensor. I don't know where you had your tire work done at but in my experience most tire guys are not mechanics by a long shot, hell a lot of them just moved up from doing nothing but oil changes.

Good point. The only reason I believed them was he actually showed me the tester for those in tire sensors. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was a fluke and the sensor is bad. But most places will not pass up $120 addition when they are replacing the tires anyhow. The other strange thing is the dealership I got it at (fixed) the issue back when I got it. Because it went out on the guy who delivered the truck. When I picked it up the next day, it was working fine.....8 miles down the road it goes blank again. LOL Yeah, so maybe just have it changed out and eliminate that factor. Thanks guys

I had a OEM sensor go bad that was stuck at 32.5psi, the dealer could force it too read but the truck hub would realize the reading was no good and after a couple miles go back to dashes. I would start with replacing, mine went bad with less than 3k on the truck.

My right rear isn't working and if I rotate front to back the rear still doesn't work. That tells me it's the module not the sensor. I just got a scan tool that reads the IDs so I can rotate and make sure the IDs move.

I've asked over and over how a module by the left front wheel knows which one is which and no one has ever been able to answer. I finally read something the other day that explains it. Accelerometers in each sensor tell it whether it's on the right or left, signal strength tells it if it's front or back. Makes the most sense to me..
