Got some wobble with my belltech 2/4, i noticed my passenger side is 1/2 inch out on passenger side. Current plan is im about to order kyb monomax shocks front and rear, may get the spohn adjustable panhard bar, and depending on how that turns out the no cut brackets. Also curious if i could use smaller bolts to avoid all the drilling for the no cut kits. Backup plan is to trim my mcgaughy 44055 to a 3inch drop and maybe avoid doing the brackets.

Please post the results of the install here when done, looking to do the same to my Ram if the cost is worth the results.

The brackets comes w/ instructions. They arent fun at all to install but are pretty much a most on these trucks w/ a 2/4 b/c the rear geomatry is so messed up w/o them. A right angle drill would be the way to go but if you dont have 1 what I did is used my 18 volt dewalt, bought a few sets of bits & cut them shorter just enough that the drill will still hold them.

Getting from a pilot bit to 1/2" is easy. Getting from 1/2" to 5/8" in hardened steel w/ no room to get a drill in will make you want to throw a Molotov cocktail threw the window & walk away while flipping it the bird & merging cuss words together. Lol I bought a few unibits & used them from 1/2" to 5/8". By the time I was done I had $400 in the brackets(bought them uncoated), about $120 or so in drill bits & now have a Dewalt drill on its last leg. BUT the end result is more than worth it. I wouldnt install another lowering kit on a 4th gen w/o the brackets.

You can also just have them welded if you have someone you trust. A few buddies have done that. I wouldnt use smaller hardware on them. Even though that would make life alot easier the brackets have 5/8" holes in them & will be able to move around w/ the proper size hardware

Gary, appreciate the help. I got my kyb monomax shocks ordered, they are inline with the specs and size you gave me for the rear bilstein shocks but fit without modifications, and replacement front shocks in the factory size like the bilstein 4600s you have. Just ordered an adjustable spohn panhard bar from moes as well as well.
In regards to adjustable rear control arms, moes has a set from core 4x4 they say are good from a 5/7 drop to an 8 inch lift, could i use these instead of the illicit customs brackets?

I have those arms. They will help w/ wheel hop & you can adjust your axle back to center & pinion angle but they wont fix the wobble. The wobble is due to the control arms being rolled upward instead of being level w/ the frame. That causes the suspension to virtually steer the rear when you hit a slight bump.

The brackets are pretty impressive, a mother so & so to install but are impressive on how much they fix/modify. They actually address quite a bit. They roll the control arms back level stopping the rear wobble, while doing that they roll the lower control arm downward more to turn it into a traction bar, recenter the axle front & back & realign the pinion angle.

The Core arms are awesome also but unless you race the truck like me than you wont really see the true benefit in them. However for a daily driven street truck the brackets take a poor riding truck & transform it into a much better riding/performing truck.

I run the Illicit "cut" brackets on my truck, and they're actually easier to install then the "no cut brackets" if you have access to a cutting torch or plasma cutter. As Gary stated they do a lot for making the truck a lot nicer to drive even if you don't race it. If you plan on running the Core arms and the "no cut brackets" there is a different upper locating arm.Gary can tell you more about the upper locating arm then I can,as he's got a set on his truck.
