Driving at highway speeds, we'll call it 65-70mph....on certain sections of the road which may be uneven or have slight dips in it, the back of my truck hops up and down like crazy. new shocks, new tires...so im 99% sure it's not that, but my god it's irritating. is it just a combination of the number of leafs in the springs on the back combined with an empy bed or what? I can see the back moving up and down in the mirror, but I've followed other rams on this stretch of road and i don't see it happening to them.
It's very hard to explain what happens but it bounces the hell outta everyone in the cab. I've seen others refer to it as the freeway bounce....and yes, this section of road happens to be concrete. Here's a quote from another person on another forum.
"I love everything about my truck but I hate to drive it to work. I live in L.A. and drive ona concrete, sectional freeway everyday (which seems to be the worst case scenario for this problem). At 65-75 mph, the vibration is enough to rattle your teeth out at times. "
any advice would be appreciated.
