Just looking to get info on how to wire up resistors. Ive got a 2011, just need to know which wires to hook up to the resistors. Looking for specific color of wires.

Mine I tapped into the wire that was opposite the ground wire. There should be 3 wires going into the parking light socket. A ground on one side, one in the middle, and one on the outside opposite the ground. Tap into the opposite sides, leave the middle untapped.

(That was really wordy, but hopefully you get what I'm saying.)

EDIT: Chaney beat me to it!

Ok so just to clarify, tap one end of resistor to one of the outside wires and the other end of the resistor to the opposite outside wire? Leave the middle wire untouched!

Does that go for wiring up all resistors? I ask because I have LED tail light bulbs but can't get them to work. They work as brake lights but don't come on as parking lights because I am blowing fuses. I was told to wire resistor to outside white w/green tracer (if I remember correctly, have to check again) and then ground the other end of resistor to truck body. I blow fuses everytime I try to hook it up. Now i'm thinking that the resistor needs to be wired into wires not grounded to the truck body. Wondering if tails are the same as turns/running lights. Same set up, 3 wires in harness.

oh hey! Its the outter ones.......

oh ****, I'm a bit late. LOL

I just installed a set on a customer's truck this morning. I personally do not like splicing into a ground, when I have a perfectly good ground that I have to make for the HID install i was doing. So, I put a ring terminal on one end of the resistor, only spliced into the truck on the turn wire.

Rear, I believe follows the same pattern
