35's for stock steel Rim is Ok, 1/4" Spacers for extra clearance to upper Arms and to assist for the Overall added 5" of Lift. Chrome Rings are in Tight and no worry of scraping them (Yeh a Bit Bulgy but My Tire Shop which handles Tons of Lifted/Fat Tire Trucks looked up the Tire specs and the rim is within the recommended width (In the Brand I chose) otherwise would have refused to do it even for a Favorite customer like me. IMO 315's are a tad skinnier but not by Much and may work Better. Alot of HD Guys run those on the 17's Aluminum/Cast/Whatever here in the Oil Patch, not much talk of Rolling a Bead (BFG's do That cause of the thin Sidewalls. My Tires are 35x12.50x 17 Fierce Attitudes with 50 PSI Maxed (Nitrogen).
Some day I may decide to get some 9" Rims.
