Anyone try Modifystreet headlights?

These are not manufactured by ModifyStreet, these are made by a company called AlphaRex and they also make a set with the same looks, but with 4 led projectors inside.

I ordered mine directly from alpharex, and the box they came in said modifystreet all over...

Interesting. I asked about that a couple weeks ago and they just told me "only the F150 models do that".

I see the "pro" model is available for the RAM, but the "pro" features dont come with it...weird.

Now I might wait even longer to see if they really do come out with the sequential signal version. Or maybe someone here will upgrade and sell me their original ones for cheap :)

EDIT: just saw your post with the screenshot. Website has been like that for weeks and is what made me contact them, because the Amazon "version" didnt mention sequential signals. They just told me only the F150 models get that....no mention of "in the works, check back soon".
Here is a screenshot from my DM convo with Alpharex, verifying that they will indeed be releasing the sequential option for the Ram within a month.

I guess Ill keep my eyes out for it! And hold off on ordering for now.

I hit them up on Facebook chat with the same question, also asked about different lens color configs (i.e. smoked, clear corners, etc)

Is that an April date too? Man I really wanted to buy these now but now I have to wait longer.
The modified ones will most likely be 2 months away. They arnt being made by alpharex or modifystreet but a 3rd party. They will come prebuilt with blacked out insides, and a clear corner reflector, morimoto internals (LED) with a more expensive option for the projectors to be swapped for the profile prism bi-led ones. But the drl strips will be profile prism led strips aswell as rgbw with morimoto bluetooth controller. They will be more expensive then they currently are, but will be way more reliable and have the features everyone wants.

Sounds cool, not sure I need all that extra stuff (was never really into RGB). Switchbacks and sequential would be cool, though.

Yes there will be 2 versions. I'm sure they will circulate once they are released. I cant post anymore info on them because the company isn't a vendor on here.

Yea I think most people have figured that out by now, but to anyone just joining in, it's useful information. As for my last few posts, they are about a 3rd party, who are using the Alpharex lights as a base, and installing new Morimoto/Profile Prism internal components and reworking how they operate with the drls and sequential turn signals, as well as clear corners and all black inside.

I see what you’re saying, now. Before, you made it sound as though alpharex would be offering the updated version. If a third party retrofitter is the one doing it using them as a base, this will probably push the price over a grand.

Well, Alpharex is releasing a 2nd version with sequential turn signals that have a "party mode" when you unlock your truck.

There will be 2 versions from the 3rd party retrofit company. One well under a grand, one just under a grand.

Version 1: is alpharex lights. All black internals, clear corner, profile prism switchback boards in top and bottom drl spots. From what I know these should run around $650.

Version 2: will be the same as above, but include the profile prism bi-led projectors retrofitted in the highs and lows, and should cost $995.

Those are early estimates on the prices of those from the info I was given. So they could change at any time, but I do know that working versions will be ready in 7-10 days with photos and videos. I'll post them up once I see them online.

This makes more sense then.

It looked to me, as well, you were stating Alpharex was going to be releasing both....which is why I made my statement.

Much appreciated for the clarification.

No problem, glad I could clarify everything for you. I love how there are so many new options coming out still for the 4th gens

As much as I would love to get the newer released blacked out with extra light show, I can't justify it now since I just bought these. But props to Alpharex for putting a actual nice light for the Ram out there.

Anyone opened a set of these yet?

Never done it before, but thinking of doing my own cleared corners, etc.

I’ll be getting to it sometime this week. I’m having max steel metallic mixed up in a rattle can right now, so whenever that’s ready.

SO what is the key to getting the DRL function of these lights working on a Quad headlight equipped truck as though it was a factory option? Is there any way to wire it so AlfaOBD will recognize that as a location for the DRL functionality with the harness included? Are "dedicated DRL" wires present on a Big Horn equipped truck that has quads? Or is the only option to use the included harness and tap into an ignition only power source? Perhaps I just missed the post.

Thanks in advance! Gonna need more money to spend on this truck perhaps!

You'll have to make a wire connection to the front end connector ( under the fuse block). Depending on your trim level you may only have to make 2 connection R/L DRL feed to the front half. If you have a base model you may have to make that connection the from the truck side of the connector to the bcm. Then through alphaobd enable the dedicated drl option. I'm about to tackle this hopefully this weekend.
