Hey guys,
Quick follow-up as I’m still exploring this Linkswell unit. I just started messing around with the split screen function (e.g. maps + music or YouTube + Car Info), and it's actually more useful than I expected.

Still figuring out which combo layout works best while driving. Maps + music seems like the most practical so far — but curious what you all are using?

Also: is there a way to set a default split view on startup? Haven’t found a setting for that yet.

Appreciate any tips or favorite setups. Feels like I’ve only scratched the surface of what this unit can do.

When I used the T-Style screens, I used an app called Automagic to create "flows" that would make things the way I wanted on startup. UNfortunately that app is no longer available but I'm sure there is some other automation app out there that can do this.

Hey everyone,
Been using the Linkswell T-Style head unit daily for a bit now, and thought I’d drop a quick note about wireless CarPlay performance.

For the most part, it’s been super smooth. Audio quality is clean, and I haven’t had any major lag with Google Maps or Spotify.

That said — I had one random moment last night where the audio cut out mid-song for about 5 seconds, then came back. Not sure if it was just a fluke, but has anyone else run into this?

I haven’t tried wired CarPlay much yet — might test that this week just for comparison.

Would love to hear how it’s been for the rest of you! Especially on longer trips — does the connection stay stable?

I’ve been using it for a while and overall it’s been great for me too. As for the gyro gauge, mine seems to be working fine so far.

Hey folks,
Quick update again — been driving more with the Linkswell 10.4" head unit and finally paid closer attention to the backup camera feed. Honestly surprised at how decent the image quality looks, even at night. Way better than what I expected from an aftermarket setup.

I didn’t change out my factory camera — just plugged into the included harness, and it worked out of the box. Super handy that I didn’t have to mess with adapters or splicing anything.

If anyone’s on the fence about upgrading to one of these units, I’d say the backup cam integration was way smoother than I thought. (I’m using the version from this link:https://www.amazon.com/LINKSWELL-Replacement-2014-2018-Navigation-Multimedia/dp/B0CKZ1LDYG, in case anyone’s curious.)

Have you guys noticed any quirks with reverse camera performance over time? I’ve seen some people mention signal delays — hasn’t happened to me yet, but I’m keeping an eye on it.

I have the 15.6" screen.Sometimes there is a 3 or 4 second delay to display the reverse camera image.Usually it is instant. Also very good image with OEM reverse camera.I rebooted it today because my HVAC wasn't responding but okay afterward.I have the pitch control working well now too.

Hey everyone,
Quick one — I’ve been getting more comfortable with the T-Style unit in daily use, and I just realized I never really tested using steering wheel buttons to trigger voice assistant while in wireless CarPlay.

Is that even possible with this unit? I tried holding the voice button down on the wheel, but nothing seemed to happen. Maybe I’m missing a setting somewhere?

If anyone’s got this figured out, I’d love to know — being able to trigger voice commands without reaching for the screen would be super helpful while driving.

Thanks in advance — this forum’s been a goldmine so far!:D
