tad over 47.5" in the front and over 48" in the rear.

got the amps on and guess what...they don't fit right either, hit the pinch molding and got stuck and chewed all the paint off. yay me. that truck will be gone by next month, never again.

the seam on the bottom edge of the cab is not even if that makes sense. one layer is out more than the other, so the boards jammed in there. now they are missing a good inch of paint/coating whatever is on them in 1 spot. 15 mintues with the grinder and they work half assed. i am not sure what i am goin to order.

i want a cummins but with the problems i've had, i'm leaning towards a new duramax prolly

Wait you are going to get rid of the truck because aftermarket power steps didn't fit properly?

the 2nd set of power steps didn't fit right, i'm just fed up with it. now i get to take it to the shop and have the bottom resprayed from grinding the lip off. this isn't the first truck I got rid of because it was nothing both a can of worms everytime i tried to do something to it :nono:

i took off a 1/2" in spots. can't believe there is that much variance, some spots on the cab were perfectly flush and some spots were awful. still sore about it, just smoothed it up better and ran some touchup over it until i can get it in the shop. end caps don't fit either. ill get some pic one of these days. as soon as i get it back from paint it's for sale and we'll go from them.

What problems have you had with the truck besides the boards not fitting quite right?
