I'm looking into replacing all of my speakers in my truck and adding a subwoofer. I just have a few questions for those of you that already have. What is the mounting depth for the front and rear doors? Also would a 4 incher fit in the dash location or has everyone used 3.5's? I'm looking at running rockford power series in the doors or possibly JL's i havent decided yet. For the subwoofer i am either going with a 10 inch W6v3 or a 10 inch RF T1. For those that have run bigger subs under the crew cab rear seats have you had any issues with the sub hitting the underside or did you just throw a grill on and call it a day? Thanks in advance.

most sub boxes require spacers to raise the rear seats. i say most because i'm not sure all do. But to be able to run the better non shallow subs i would guess you need to

You might check out this member's post. Believe his is a 2014 also.

Has some pretty good information on speaker swaps.

I asked the same question about the sub under the rear seat, and if it will hit or not. The few prefab boxes I checked into (Ended up Going with Fox Acoustics) provide spacers like the above poster mentioned. So you will end up with a little bit of clearance.
