Hi All, I've seen a few threads touch on this but no solution that I could find. Took my 2025 Tungsten in for an oil change and as a "bonus" got a software update from the dealer. Needless to say it came with several issues. The only one I haven't been able to figure out is the the auto locks. The doors used to lock automatically at ~15mph, they no longer do. I've read the manual, searched Youtube and the forums but I can't find the referenced setting anywhere in the settings to turn this back on. Any ideas?

Further details....when they handed me the keys the entire infotainment panel was in Italian, mph were now in kmph, wrong time zone, metric odometer, lights didn't work and the parking break engaged when I put in park. Awful dealer experience but most of this was fixed with some troubleshooting. The door locks solution eludes me.

Your U Connect System has Doors/Lock screen under submenus. Go in there and enable. ADDED: Out of 2025 Manual. You can download and have on yer PC.

Thanks for the reply & yes this is where severl of the YT videos said the setting would be as well. I'm assuming that the software update removed the feature. as it's not there but the rest of these options are. (sorry for the bad photo quality)menu.jpg

The update moved that setting to the IPC and the dealer has to enable it for you.
Reference Star case S2508000003.

The same thing happened to my 2025 Limited when I received that update last Fall
Thanks for chiming in. IPC??? WHY would an option available by driver enabling be removed and put under IPC? WHY I do not allow RAM to flash my 2024 TSB issue, that is still outstanding. The last time they flashed my BCM, they "fixed" five issues, but caused "2" others, and they cannot go back and fix.

OP: Here is the STAR case from 5th Gen Forum addressing the Auto Lock feature: see pdf. Sounds like trip to dealer, and I would print the TSB and have in hand.

EVERYTIME I go in for work, they try and flash the TSB for ESC system. I have OBD locked, I do not allow them to flash that TSB. Not need 3 more problems everytime they play around in there and fuch up other stuff.

The first thing the Service Guy tells me: You have an Open recall, and my reply is NO CHIT, and NO TOUCH.

Yeah. My 2002 Toyota Sequoia was recalled in the mass-panic of the early 2010's... twice. Both times, they determined that mine wasn't included in the recall.
Later on, I had a recall on my .... get ready for this....
2004 Ford Ranger for "inadvertent "upside down" installation of my passenger air bag module when the first recall was done! Really? WOW!!

Currently, I'm sitting on 3 recalls on my 2014 Sorento.

The dealer didn't notice all these issues before they handed it back to you?
Why should you have to fix any of this?

Are you surprised that they can't be bothered to check their work or verify proper functionality before returning a vehicle?

I one had my truck returned with a bunch of comm errors where several modules weren't connected to the BCM.

The tech has disconnected the battery to perform some electrical work and didn't bother to check any basic HVAC functions, among other things.

The end user is responsible for QC work in the current world we live in.
