OEM remote systems come with new fobs. My dealer quoted me today at 550.00 installed.

CompuStar makes a basic 1-way unit that uses your factory fob, just push unlock 3 times and the truck starts. The unit is 275 installed at my distributor.

no need to waste your money on the compustar. its NOT necessary.

these trucks are data controlled. the bypass module is really what does the starting and if you are not using the compustar remote you wasted your money on the extra compustar parts. a t-harness and a bypass module are all you need. If you installer didnt give you the extra remote did they really install the compustar even?

you do the exact same thing press the lock button 3x and it will start the truck.

you mount it anywhere you want. with that harness that i posted. the instructions show you where exactly to put the different harnesses.
