Automatic regen has failed twice within 3 months now on my 2022 Ram 3500. Both times it started and within 5 minutes shut off and showed that my DPF was full and I had reduced power. The check engine light is also on. Both times, when it shut off the DPF gauge showed less than half full but within minutes went to full! The first time I was 800 miles from home and had to take it to a local dealer for a forced regen. Of course it was just out of the 50K emissions warranty (approx. 56K miles on the truck) so it cost me $300. I have an appointment with my dealership for this time on Monday morning to do a forced regen again. My previous Ram, a 2020 3500, had to have the DPF replaced at about 45K miles which was fortunately covered by the emissions warranty. I'm starting to get pretty soured on Ram diesels!
