To wire these using just an On/Off switch that could come on even when the truck is not running, would the below diagram be how to do it?
Also, does anyone have a picture of what one of the relay harnesses that I am looking for looks like? Do they carry them at somewhere like Pep Boys?

Where can i buy those switches? Those look great!!
Well after a couple of trips to home depot and after drilling a bunch of holes into the frame, my lights are mounted and ready for wiring tonight.
I wired mine to factory aux switch. I didn't want to take the chance of blinding everyone by tying them into reverse.
How did you do this? Did you use the trailer wiring harness?Creative wiring it to the cargos i have mine wired to my reverse with a switch running to the cab!
Something simple like this would work (a toggle switch or a rocker switch)

A single pole / double throw switch (on-off-on) would allow you to turn the lights off in the middle position. One of the on positions would be from your reverse lights allowing the lights to turn on with your reverse lights and the other on position would be from your battery allowing you to turn on the lights whenever you want.
As far as running the wires goes I just (mostly) followed the wiring harness under the truck.
Your lights probably already come with a relay and a switch. Use the relay and you can wire this switch in instead of the switch that comes with the lights.
To your first question, they make splice connectors that you don't need to cut your original wire. Wire slips right in and just slices it to make contact. The new wire tip goes in next to it and the splicer is a conductor. You can take it off and the original wire will still be whole, but you will need to put a piece of electrical tape over the contact spot.
