Aux switch locations

Where are you guys putting your aux switches for lightbars and other accessories at? I have one open spot by the other buttons on the dash but I don't know where to put other switches without it looking weird. So post pics for inspiration

my 11 has a small access cover next to my right knee on the console that i put a small switch on.

I was thinking right in the center console in that big open space between the seat and storage area. But the light comes on Friday so I have until then and this is a one shot deal you know; can't uncut stuff.

Put mine between the front cup holders. Ram 2500 6.7l manual. Acrylic conceptions can also make a plate to cover the sunglass holder for switches.

I saw a write up where someone on the forum used one of their blank buttons on their dash and repurposed it as a real button... Kind of tedious but looked professional. If I can find it again I'll ink for you.

How tall are you? Can you reach the location pictured easily from the drivers seat?

I'm 6 foot and I'm confused as to that exact location of that. my mechanic (I work for ups so that mechanic) advised me against the dead button as how it's wired into everything else. Besides I only have one dead button that I plan to save that for a winch. I really like that cup holder idea. That looks sick!!!

Here is a picture from farther out. It is just to the right of the drawer in the dash. Do you have a console or a center jump seat?
Also if you have the 110 outlet that is where my switches are located.

Thanks for that link, bookmarked that for later use. I was thinking about eventually using those dead spots for switches later. Didn't even know they could be modified like that, figured Id have to cut them out and add my own switches in their place.

I have the center console and I've decided on two spots so hopefull I get it in tomorrow and will post pics later of what I decided
