Yeah, don't buy from these guys. I spent over two hundred bucks and two months later the lights are filling in with water. Just got an email basically saying I'm screwed. The driver's side also is filled with water.

I believe yours has a 90 day warranty.

Alpharex is 2 years.

Yeah, I have Alpharex headlights (Luxx series) and they are great. I guess I'll have to break down and get the Alpharex tails.

I had good luck with their [-shaped tail lights and CHMSL light but no experience with there customer service.

If you paid with PayPal just open a claim there. PayPal gives you 180 days in which to file claim.

Would adding a bead of clear silicone around aftermarket lights help?

I would take these lights out, shake out the water, run a bead of clear silicone around all the edges where there’s a connection then take gorilla tape and tape the silicone seals, make certain you can’t see the tape once installed. I do this with every pair of lights I buy, even the OEM ones, never had water get in again, $200 is $200 to me.

Did you take any pics of the install of the Alpharex tail lights? I just received mine and they only have two inputs, and the stock has three inputs. I've asked Alpharex for install instructions, but no reply.
