I started posting about this on another thread and decided before I totally hi-jack it I'd start my own thread , old thread for back story purposes ( https://www.ramforum.com/threads/1992-d150-fuel-pump.76361/page-2#post-1804310 )

My trucks been sitting for about 5 years now , just havn't been using it , went out this spring ready to do some maintenance on it as I going to be doing some projects that my workhorse will be needed for. I started it every so often while it sat and it always started till this spring . ..

Spray some starting fluid in the TB and she would fire right off . . the fuel pump gave up as did the battery.

So I didn't lift the side of the bed , jacking up the front worked out ok , kept using longer 2x4's & my floor jack in stages , an engine crane would have been less time consuming. I was able to lift it high enough to get the fuel pump in and out easily. New battery & pump and she's running but now spraying fuel from the fuel line. I ordered a fuel line from Rock Auto , complete line kit , pre-bent with fittings.

Now I'm going to have to drop the tank to get at the lines since their bolted to the frame rail and easy access is blocked by the tank , Rock Auto also has new tank straps if my rusty ones don't survive .

Pretty good looking truck. I just did front rotors on my 86 W150. That was a pain. Next time I'll take it to a shop. Now on to the rear brakes, rear axle bearings, and parking brake cable. Oh the joy of old mopars.
