But if you hadn't said anything at all i would of continued thinking i had an egr and telling people who dont have one to check it. Worked out in the end
I'm very leary of any of the throttle voltage manipulators. The reason why is because when something like a Pedal Commander is installed on a stock truck your TPS throttle position sensor will be on the very end of the aggressive based maps the PCM works off of. When the truck is driven without aggression it adapts to the driving style.
If my understanding is correct the Ram truck has 75+ maps to choose from based on driving style, and the system adapts within a given period of time/miles. When the throttle voltage is sent to 100% repeatedly it will send the truck in various scenarios from limp mode to shutting off completely refusing to start again.
