Backup camera distortion

I have had nothing but trouble with everything electrical in my truck from day one. This issue is with the backup camera quality, the dealer says it is normal but I feel like it isn’t. Is this normal? There are clear black lines of distortion moving around the screen. I tried to upload a video but it keeps saying it’s too large.

I have an 18 ram 1500 with the 8.4 nav

Its a common problem. More than likely your camera/camera wiring got some moisture in it and needs to be replaced. I would find a different dealer. You should have no problem getting this fixed under warranty.
