Bad air bag

I have 2017 ram 1500 on November 1 I and my wife hit deer on the interstate at 70 mph . The truck had 22200 dollars and airbag deployment, but the passenger side didn't deploy properly it blew up in the dash and did not come out .The airbag blew the radio and the air vents out of the dash luckily nobody was hurt . Chrysler is denying that the air bag failed so be careful I still have the part of the that failed from the body shop.

I think you 'better call Saul" or "Jackie Chiles" (Breaking Bad and Seinfeld TV show lawyer references there). I'm sure Chrysler is saying nothing is wrong. If no one truly is hurt Chrysler, or more to the point the manufacturer of the airbag, is lucky. An airbag blowing through the radio and dash? I'm no automotive engineer but I'll go out on a limb and say that's not the way it's supposed to work.

All kidding aside, I'm glad no one is hurt. Hang onto that part and take LOTS of pictures of things.

You (...er, your wife) got lucky. Glad to hear it. However, if you need the Pass airbag to work you'd like to know the pass airbag would deploy properly. I hope CFA took note of your situation and is looking into it. In another situation, not so fortunate, they may have an airbag lawsuit on their hands.
