Bad ECM

Hello, I need help about a year ago I was driving my truck and it got very sluggish and died. It would not restart, the next day it started right up but once it got warm it died and wouldn't restart. Ive changed the CPS, pick up, full tune up and the fuel pump/filter. I have been told that it could be the ECM that's shutting it down. I cant find one online. Dealer just told me IF they can get one it will be $1100. Anyone know where I could send it to be refurbished? I need my Big Green Monster back on the road.

fs1inc.com does rebuilds with warranty. There's another one named SIA Electronics. I had a bad experience with them. Good luck!

I would think the cheapest would be pull a part for your 96 RAM or maybe a recking yard with older vehicles ,one other thing to check remove or loosen the fuel cap & check to see if it is pumping fuel to the intake when it shuts down. If it will run on carb cleaner is another way to check
