Bakflip cover problem

I just purchased a 2021 Ram 1500 limited with rambox and mft.. It came with a Bakflip cover and box of hardware but it was not installed... It has the silver rails... I installed according to instructions but the cover sits about 1 in lower than the bed sides a d has a 1/2 in gap on both sides of cover... Anyone have problems with the fit on theirs? I would go to Bakflip's website and verify that the model you have was made for a bed that has the Ram Boxes. I know the MFT limits the number of bed covers available (due to support brackets) with a standard bed, I'm not aware of what the MFT with the Ram Boxes will do.

I agree, check their website. Then contact them directly. I had issues installing mine and contacted them. They had me send pictures and they sent out additional hardware and explained exactly what was needed to get it installed. Unfortunately my truck isn't the same as yours but I'm sure they'd be willing to help you.

@RealTruck any chance you can help out with @cudaguy71 's install issue?

What model cover do you have? There are several ones from BAK. There should be a part number on the cover somewhere then see if that number is compatible for your truck. The MFT requires a specific bed cover with specific brackets to work correctly.

My first one was an amazon "return" unbeknownst to me. I called BAK, and had the problem solved in about 10 min. They sent me a completely new one and had me document the destruction of the other one. Their customer service is top notch.
