Ive just tried to install the above products on my 2019 f2500 mega cab and having an issue. The mx4 when collapsedis about a 1/2” above the tailgate. Talk about water intrusion. Firvthe lufe of me i cant figure out why its so low. Has anyone put both of theses on their truck that i could discuss the installation? A quick overview:
- no seals were put on except front one
- i left the plastic guard protector on the truck( wonder if thats issue)
- elevate rail went on then the mx4 rail.
- pushed down and used clamps.
Am i missing something?

I had a similar problem, I ended up having to use stick on rubber seals on the back ( cab side ) and adjust the bakflip further forward ( towards the tail gate ) and add a rubber seal on the tail gate. No sure there is a way to have it sit lower that I’ve seen
