Battery Repair Mode vs Charging Mode on My Classic

I've been very slack at charging this past Winter and the OE lead battery is hovering around 12.1 to 12.3 VDC, according to the app I've been using.

Leaving a smart charger on it set to 2A seems to be bringing up the SOC.

Where is the voltage on your AGM?





How does the price compare to this 3-day old from Costco?

Only certain Costco Warehouses carry the AGM H8 battery, and looking at multiple locations within 150km from me they indicate zero stock available.

If I could find one locally I'd go today and get it.

Unfortunate that Odyssey doesn't have a better warranty though!

Your closest one will bring an H8 in for you if you ask. Can't order online from Costco for delivery as they class them as a hazardous good.

I was referring to Costco only. There are lots of other places that will ship batteries.

I would just do the standard charge first, although I don't think the repair mode will hurt it. I have run 7 repairs on my wife's Scion that sits for months without being driven.

Oddessey agm h-8 lasting a little over 3 yrs. Not very impressive for what they cost no matter where you buy them.
