Installed the BD 2WD LO Kit today. Figured I’d share for anyone unaware or interested. This kit is very easy to install and seems to be made of quality parts. They supply you with a harness and switch that enables you to disengage the front axle to allow only power to the rear wheels when in low range. There are a few YouTube videos of guys installing it as well utilizing their factory auxiliary switches. Tested it out and works great.

I could see how that would be beneficial in certain situations. Such as backing up a trailer on pavement or some other surface where you don't want the binding of 4wd but the added torque of low range. Also in some off-road situations. I've been off-roading for years and there are times it would be nice to have the added torque and gearing of low range when navigating tight trails but don't need the traction of 4wd.

You're forgetting the most important benefit; actually having something to switch on and off with all those unassigned upfitter buttons.
