I'm surprised your insurance company allowed you to do that..once they total your truck the salvage rights go to the company. Anything you put on the truck becomes part of the truck...

Bull bar and light, morimoto hids, tonno cover, floor mats, muffler and tips, recon 3rd brake light and wheels and tires.

Adjuster told me to take whatever I wanted, I even made sure only thing he said was the wheels had to be replaced with another set of wheels.

Again, sorry for the loss but glad you're OK. IMHO, if you wanna "play" a little with a build on a 2500, skip the Power Wagon, get a stock-ish 2500 at a lower trim level, unless you plan on wheeling the Power Wagon.

This way you get the stronger springs, etc and can build out a really nice truck. Check the builds on ExpeditionPortal and OverlandBound for some inspiration.

p.s. I may at some near point lose my mind and do a lift on my 1500 QuadCab.

I think I got really lucky with my adjuster. His first words were "man I'm so sorry that was a sick truck" , He was a truck guy as well. He knew I was gonna lose my ass off and I think he intentionally waited to make the final adjustment until I got my stuff off.

But man those power wagons are so sick! I'm having a 2017 I found in VA sent up to my local dealer today. Hopefully it'll look as good as it does in pictures

My life is complete again!...lol more pics to come picked it up last night 2017 Brilliant black with only 1500 miles. Paint is a little swirly previous owner must've used alot of car washes. Full paint correction and pics to come this weekend

As much as I would have liked to buy it back I would have no where to put it much less the time to work on it. I do miss it still though, the PW is sweet but its hard to follow up the 1500

What did you use on that paint to get that shine?

I used menzerna 3500 for polishing and followed up with Powerlock sealant and Collinite 845 wax
