Be really careful in the fog

BTW, were you running any kind of aux lighting, specifically aftermarket fogs?

Just glad I took the turn super slow or it could've been worse. Probably was only doing 5-10mph

I'm fine and no one else was involved. Super dark unfamiliar roads and bright white lights with fog doesn't mix. Whole passenger side is F'd, just hoping my wheels or suspension isn't jacked. Bad thing is I'm 5 hours from home

OK, that's what I was wondering, lighting-wise...all the more reason to consider true yellow lights for running in fog. I've been debating adding yellow fogs to my Reb and I think your accident is the motivation I needed!

Yellow fogs and slow driving work great for me. I know they're not as cool but I tried the white LED fogs and they were pretty but they didn't do **** otherwise. Glad you're OK and hopefully you can get the truck repaired.

Also glad you're ok & hopefully truck only has sheet metal damage. Tidefan hit the nail on the head. The white "fogs" are more of aux lighting set up. Amber fogs work a lot better as its light isn't reflected back at you as much.

I've been in heavy fog that I couldn't see more than 10 feet in front of me. Actually used the GPS screen to give me an idea about upcoming corners. Roadside was full of vehicles in the ditch the next morning. I wanted to stop, but the risk of getting hit stopped was too high. Just turned on the 4 ways and moved along slowly until I was out of it. I could have easily ended up in the ditch with everybody else. Sometimes luck just isn't on your side. At least you're ok and if it was a low speed tip the damage may just be cosmetic.

Been there. Tully fog in Central ca is brutal. MOST IMPORTANT,,you are OK. Insurance will handle.

Have some guys I work with say if we can fit it on a uhaul dolly they'll tow it home for me. Hoping it's all just cosmetic which it seems to be but I'm going to have some one check it over and if it's good I'm gonna limp it home
