I have reviewed many posts here regarding the bed cover.
I have narrowed it down to the BAKFLIP MX4 TONNEAU COVER which I have on a 2016 Chevy Colorado I inherited from an Uncle. I like it with one exception... when folding all the way up to the cab it is difficult to see out the back window.
I also like the TRUXEDO SENTRY however, I am not a huge fan of the velcro edges. I just see them getting clogged with dirt and wearing out quickly over time. I like that it rolls up and does not obstruct the rear window view.
It's a tough decision.
My Uncle's 2016 Colorado (Black Betty) is very basic and he added some really nice accessories to it. It's black with only 10,000 miles on it was 8,000 when I got it. He added the plastic wheel well arches and mud flaps, the GOLD chevy emblem was replaced throughout the vehicle with the BLACK emblem. Added the rails on the the bed sides, step rails on the side of the cab. Full body clearcoat protection the repels rain and water. Special rain repellent to all of the windows. Trailer towing package and trailer brakes. Bed cover, bed rug, saddle cases in the bed. The bed has a sprayed in liner. Other than that she's basically stock with the V6. A super pristine ride!!! The only thing he missed was cruise control. And he placed the real bucks in his off-road vehicles. The truck was only for towing his toys on his Tommy Aluminum Trailer (AWD Side-By-Side, Dedicated Rock Climbing Jeep Rubicon and his Diesel Sportsmobile) to the desert near by.
We use this truck here in Washington state and the used RAM is for our second home in Arizona.
Any thoughts on the bed cover would be greatly appreciated!
