Anyone done this? and if you have, any pics? I'm having a pair sprayed as we speak, to be picked up tues or wed of next week and I'd really like a preview. Sold my chrome bumpers, side steps, and wheels back to the dealer, having new sport bumpers sprayed/mounted, then probably going with RBP Black side steps. I'll post pics as soon as I get it done and in....

I have my front and rear bumpers bed lined, as well as my body line on my 2nd gen. I need to get some updated pics so I'll snap some in the morning for ya!

I can see why. When I got quotes from line-x they charge crazy amounts to send out your chrome bumpers to get prepped. It is cheaper to get a whole new bumper and have it bedlined haha. That's why I'm just gonna do mine on my own tho lol. They charge way to much money for it

I'm fortunate in that I'm from a small town and I know the dealer very well. They order parts for me at cost all the time. They know I've purchased 3 brand new cars/trucks from them in the past 8 years and when I finish residency I'll be buying a bada$$ Power Wagon.

They ordered the bumpers, I assumed they were sport model, but didn't see them. I just told them to make sure I could keep my fogs. Then they are spraying them with a finer texture bedliner. My paint guy was getting depressed about having to grind all that chrome down to get a good level of adherence.

Parts were 600.00 shipped and then 200.00 to have them prepped, sprayed, and materials. Best part was they agreed to purchase all of my old chrome. Rims/tires, grill, bumpers, and side steps to upgrade a trade-in 2010 they have on the lot. Not to mention they let me use their lifts to swap out the bumpers. After its all said and done, I'll be rid of my chrome (except for door handles, which are going to be worked on today), and make around 500.00 on the deal. Then I won't feel so bad about ordering the RBP RX-3 steps I've been eyeing for awhile now..

Should have pics by next thurs depending on travel time.

I've heard of alot of people doing that. Haven't gotten to see pics, but I can see how you could. I owned an old farm truck to use on a mowing rig and I just gutted it and sprayed the entire interior lower 1/3 of it with liner and it worked awesome! Just pulled up to a carwash and sprayed it out.

I've seen it done on trucks and jeeps. Mostly rocker panels. A couple of years ago I saw an older, full sized Phord Bronco that had been done ... all over!

At least the guy with the bronco didn't have to worry about waxing or clay barring.

Ya I've considered doing an entire vehicle in the past. The more detail oriented shops can spray a liner and have it come out just as bad ass as a new paint job. I want a truck that looks bad ass and actually is bad ass. And If I don't like them, I'll go with the more expensive FLUG or Iron Bull Bumpers next year. This is pretty much a "free" mod to see if I like it. I'm not big on rock crawling and all that, but when I hunt or fish there aren't any backroads (or pastures and fields for that matter) that are safe!.. :shooter:

It looked a bit "bumpy" if ya know what I mean.

Can't be cheap...an all over job would be much like a all over paint job with the associated prep, trim pull, etc...

The White will be kept super clean (Try to detail weekly right now), but the liner will clean with a hose pretty well. Its a Speedliner spray that I have in the bed of my truck. Still looks like new 18 months after being sprayed on..

I'm pretty sure thats why I've only seen pretty old bronco's, jeeps, farm trucks, etc.... You can actually spray a bedliner without texture in it. It won't be perfectly smooth like a paint job, but ALOT smoother than the typical spray. I can't wait to get mine on. I think you would probably lose alot of your trim/etc... The liner would fill in the grooves too much. Dunno though..

Swapped out the bumpers today! I'm pretty happy with how they came out. Before the hater's start, I'll be the first to admit that I need flares and side steps ASAP to continue the look down the sides, but for the front and rear its bada$$ (I'm partial...:********:)

Thanks guys! I'm not going to lie, I was nervous about them. I couldn't find any pics of newer trucks with them, but they really came out nice. I have some TRX flares on order to be sprayed and put on next. I'm holding out for the RBP Rx-3 side steps, but they will have to wait until July most likely. We had an unexpected hospital bill come up and RBP is proud of their stuff. On a side note, the dealer was so happy about how the truck came out that they are going to spray a demo truck, lift it, etc to market and sell. Today was a good day....
