I’m looking to add 2 marine grade speakers to the bed for some extra sound outside when I’m detailing, tailgating, etc. I also want to connect them to a switch so I can turn them on and off as needed. How would I go about this? Can I run the wires to the head unit and plug them in and splice off to add a switch? Cause if I would connect them to the current speaker wires and add a switch to the new wires, that would still shut off the inside speakers, correct? I need some guidance haha

I have the 8.4in” screen and don’t have the premium sound

How are you planning on mounting the speakers

Go to some car shows to see how they do it

On one of my trucks, i had a set of nice looking speakers that i placed on the roof for parties, they plugged in the radio wires.

I don't think anyone does that any more
I think that they buy some nice sounding Bluetooth speakers that are connected to either a radio or cell phone or other device
