Yes I do and he actually knows that, yet seemed a bit perturbed that I questioned him about it. My buddy is the owner so when I get back I’ll also call him as I’m trying to support his business. But if I’m requesting something that I available and am being told it’s not, that bothers me.
Just got mine in the mail today. Shipped on the 22nd. I laid it out on the garage floor to flatten out a bit. Looks sweet! Lots of cushy padding on the underside. Basically just 2 large pieces. One piece is the floor and tailgate piece. The other piece is the cab/side of bed. You zip them together and use the sticky stuff. I'll tackle it this evening and let you know if I have any issues.

Im new to trucks, whats the benefit to a bed rug vs a spray in like line-x? my local line-x dealer quoted me a price thats like 40 bucks more for the spray in than the 399 for the bedrug.

Got mine in too! Waiting for my bed cover to install it. It’s been raining a lot in south florida.

Does it come with the adhesive?

Nothing wrong with line x. And the cost is similar. Its personal preference and depends on how you use your truck. The bedrug is a soft surface and has grip to keep stuff from moving around back there. And I love the little bridge between the bed and gate so unloading mulch or sand etc it won't fall in the crack .

It comes with all of the Velcro strips. Just attach them to the bedrug then place it in the truck bed. When you get it fit in there properly peel back the tape on the bottom strips and secure it in place . Then work around the sides starting with the front. Took me about an hour taking my time .

You can even do both! I plan to put a BedRug over my LineX’d bed but not the full bed BedRug.

Do you guys know if the bedrug will get in the way of led lights that you place under the bed rail?
Mine 3rd gen, fitted right under the rails with velcro tape.....leaving the underside rails alone....asuming thats where the lighting is....good product, I was actually sorry to see it go with the truck.

All this talk about bed 'rugs' and I had a throw back to my van and early truck days. For the time being, I just put a throw rug in the bed. Fits darn near perfect and the exact length I need.

You can order a Bedrug for the 5th gen now. I ordered mine via phone directly from Bedrug on 8/17. If you are a veteran, they will also give you a 10% discount. Fit is great!

How did the tailgate attachment work with the big dip in the tailgate?

Not sure what you mean by big dip?

The tailgate piece is attached to the bedrug and secured to the gate by velcro, and there's some extra material there to tuck down into the gap between the bed and gate. My pic makes it look a little deeper of a gap than it really is, but the extra material is needed for flex when you open/close the gate.

One thing, you do have to remove or loosen the upper tailgate panel to install a cap (supplied) over the top edge of it to give the velcro enough of a lip to attach to. The panel itself has no lip at all and therefore not enough surface area for the velcro. Instructions are included, it was easy.

I was trying to describe the inside panel of the tailgate which is not a flat surface where the hook side of the velcro would stick to hold the tailgate panel of the Bedrug in place. I'm familiar with the spanner between the bed and the tailgate. I've had 4 Bedrugs in trucks. I'm pretty sure I'm going with the mat with attached tailgate this time around whenever they release it.

Edit - My reason to do just the mat is I don't want to mess around popping the led lights out then trimming the Bedrug for the lights and sandwiching the edge of the Bedrug between the body and the led light lens. I did that with my F150 and it was tedious and I don't like just cutting a hole and leaving a gap.
