Hello everyone. Finally back in a big horn crew cab. Had a 2012, 2013 and now 2018. I traded in a 2015 challenger that had alot of problems for this truck. My question is.....I also own a 2016 durango r/t with the same engine and trans as the big horn. Has anyone switched a steering wheel from an r/t durango into a ram? Reason for my thinking is my truck is a 4x2 and figured paddle shifters would be fun add-on. Only thing in truck is dial shifter and a tow/haul button on dash. I dont use the paddle shifters always in durango but fun when I do.

I don't think it's going to be an easy swap without some tuning at the very least... That is my best educated guess about the subject.

Thanks, was thinking out loud when I posted the question. Again I thought it would be fun like when I drive the Durango. Already truck in dealership for noisy brake pedal, clunking sound when almost to complete stop and driverside window switch keeps popping up out of door panel. Should have truck back next monday or tuesday they are waiting on a part they said.

Don't know about the Durango wheel, but the SRT steering wheel swap has been tried and nobody has got it to work as far as I know.I have a Chryco tech buddy who's in the midst of seeing if he can make the SRT wheel work right at this moment,if he gets it to work,I told him to do a write-up,lol. You can put paddle shifters in the trucks, but you have to mod the original steering wheel. I have a buddy who makes a plug-n-play kit to put the AMG Mercedes paddle shifters into the trucks,i have them in my truck, they aren't cheap though.
