Hi all. New to the forum, and have my first question. just finished installing the Belltech 965SP 2/4 lowering kit. Kit was pretty easy to install. But at ride height with tires on and everything. the rear is sitting right on the bump stops. you can see the driver side one is literally compressed to the point there only 1/4" gap between the metal cup and the axle platform. Emailed belltech, and they claim its supposed to ride like that. That really doesn't make any sense to me, There is absolutely no suspension give riding on the road with the suspension the way it currently is... Would like to hear more feedback from others who have this kit installed on their trucks.

Details:
2015 Ram1500 Laramie 4x4 crew and 6.4 box.

Sorry, was more looking for some sign that the springs sent were the incorrect spring rate, the ones given were so soft they don't hold the truck up whatsoever. I could trim them down, or remove them completely and the truck would just settle until again its frame on axle. Belltech telling me the truck is supposed to ride on the bumpstops sounds absolutely ludicrous to me. So there is supposed to be absolutely zero suspension travel? I can provide pics. but the top 7 coils of the spring are pressed together at ride height. its gotta be that the spring rate is off on this set.

They might have sent the wrong springs, but Belltechs springs are notorious for being a bit soft. The bump stops just pop out of the cups, try pulling them and see how bad the truck hits the bumpstop cups. Most guys usually cut the cups off and go with an aftermarket bumpstop

Sent the stamped product code to belltech and confirm the right springs... If I pull the rubbers off. Cups sit right on the axle landing easy. Man these things are wayyyyy too soft.

I ran the Belltechs for a few months, then scrounged a set of factory R/T springs from the local dealers dumpster, after they lowered an R/T and cut them down to what i wanted, and sold the belltechs
You could always run a set of bags inside them, like i had on my old truck. If that's an option,i reconmend running them as 2 seperate bags,i ran the fittings out the licence plate bolts
