so im sure this has been discussed many times before but i cant find any threads, whats the best intake for these trucks? ive heard good things about the hughes air gap. My mom said shed split the cost with me for a birthday gift :roflsquared:

Edit: do you need the billet fuel rail they sell to go along with the air gap?

I have posted more info on the aircrap than I have the m1. Air crap is an old 4bbl carb intake that was moded to be a mpi intake. It takes more parts to get back the lost tq than the m1. It uses a 4bbl to 2bbl adapter that's **** in my op. It has problems with the fuel line cross over that leaks and cause a fire. Has no provision for the iat.

This all said those that have one love it just like us that have the m1.......thing is idk of one person that has tried both and can give an honest op on both.

So be ready to hear it all good bad and other ops.

This link right here will tell you all you need to know about all of the intakes offered for these trucks:
http://www.allpar.com/mopar/performance/manifolds.html
In summary the m1 2bbl is the biggest bang for the buck unless you have a mopar 4bbl throttle body laying around looking for a home. The airgap is **** and doesn't flow much better than a modified keggar. The 2 bbl m1 however will flow almost as much as the 4bbl m1; 10cc difference.
