Any suggestions on how to measure height for front level and also the easiest process? What parts needed, etc? Thanks!

If your 2004 is a 4x4, then the easiest way would be to crank up your torsion bars. I did it on my 2003, looked great. Just get an alignment and easy peasy! Here is a picture of my old truck...

I know they make front leveling kits pretty reasonably priced and not that big a pain to install. You do have to take the front springs loose and add parts. The only shocks that I'm aware that will give you lift either have overloads on them or air shocks. Regular shocks smooth out bumps and such, but shouldn't change the ride height. But hey, I'm old (skool) and what do I know?
