best material for adapters

i used some crap i had laying around, i was just wondering if using something else would produce better sounds. here is a quick pic

probably won't make much of a difference. Its not like you are going for air tight, etc - leave it and blast out!

i think i may pull them out and add some foam on all the surface contacts. who knows im just playing around. hopefully pdx-1.1000 and two 10" type-r's coming soon

get thin aluminum and cover all the holes in the metal. use some sound deadener and cover those holes. also put a layer of sound deadener inside the door. it makes a nice difference with the sound.

That will be fine. Most of the time mdf is used so there is really no differences there other than density of the board.
