Things I've done added to my truck since buying it include:
1. Husky floor liners front and back - $185 from Amazon
2. AVS smoked hood protector - $62 from eBay
3. Putco bed side rails - $160 from Amazon
4. Door sill protectors and 11in screen protector - $59 from Amazon
5. Rear side bed step - $181 from Amazon
6. Roar pedal - $160 from roarpedal.com
7. Swing Case passenger side - Christmas gift from sons
8. Husky mudflaps - $62 from eBay

As soon as I find a decent set, I'm going to add some cross drilled, slotted brake rotors.

This is a weird question maybe, but does it smell? I’ve been looking for a cheap one until I can get the line-x done. Some of the reviews say the rubber mats have a bad odor, especially when under a tonneau cover.
Not sure about the Dee Zee but my Rough Country does not smell. It's not as cheap as the Dee Zee but is not much more and is a great bed mat.

It is rubber so has a bit of a tire smell to it when I first got it (it's made from recycled tire rubber). Over time it's almost nothing now as the mat has aged but it was never very strong, even under my tonneau in the SoCal summer.

Just ordered these Infinity speakers for the rear door in my Alpine 9-speaker system. $94. I read that the front door speakers are programmed for all bass and that the stock speakers are very good for that so I'll leave them. I also understand that the "Alpine" system was simply designed by Alpine and the speakers are actually just generic OEM, not Alpine. To me the system sounds a little muddled with too much high end from the dash and too much bass from the rear. Hoping that the Infinity speakers in the rear doors will add some more balance from the rear. Replacing my speakers in my old Tradesman made a huge difference.

How is this holding up over time? Do you just tie the hot to the battery and use the switch as the ground?

So far it's great. Switch is kinda cheap but for the price I'll upgrade if it's a issue later. Yep Switch is ground.

UPDATE: Just got the speakers installed and WOW what a difference. This needs to be added to the list of Top 5 mods.

Got a phone (with case) that is too big to fit "portrait" in the center dash holder and that holder is not designed to get the phone out when it's "landscape" unless it is very short. Add in my sausage fingers and it is very frustrating trying to dig my phone out of the holder.

I narrowed my choices down to Pro Clip or Course Motorsports for a phone mount. I went with the Course Motorsports and am very happy with it:
