Best bang for your buck? Get a mount for your cellphone. Thats what i use, free navigation, its actually the one thing that bothers me with buying a new truck, they seem to love ordering the 8.4AN and charge you an extra 600 for the navigation, I got it for free on my phone. *shrug*

I had the built-in Uconnect nav in my last truck, Jeep Rubicon. I knew I didn't want it in this one.
For $170 I bought a 7 inch screen Tom-Tom unit that came with free lifetime map updates via the internet.
And, I take it with me on vacations to use in rental cars.

To be honest, I have a Garmin that I use from time to time. CHEAP!!!!
It does a pretty good job and even offers a speedometer which is nice since Iam running 35" tires and my factory speedo is off 5 mph...
The only time the Garmin sucks is in the mountains going up curvy passes etc...

I have a TomTom with lifetime updates and traffic that I have in the truck for those rare times when I do not have any cell service.

Otherwise, I use a program called 'Waze' on my cell, best thing since sliced bread. As long as other users are around you, you will be notified of cars on the side of the road, cops ahead, etc. And you can contribute as well if you see cops or whatever. Totally free program and use it anytime I have to go out because it does live traffic update from other users.

I replaced my factory radio with a kenwood excelon dnx9980HD, i had to buy a new dash bezel off of ebay, but deffinately worth it if you like car audio as much as i do.
