Best oil for 2020 Ram 2500 6.7 L Cummins?

How do we know if (1) OP neglected to mention, (2) OP is unaware if state mandates, (3) OP travels in states that mandate?

I have been using Rotella T-6, 5w40, in my 6.4 Ford and this Ram 6.7. It exceeds all Cummins specs. My 5th wheel travels at about 15,800 lb. Several summer trips on I-10 produced coolant temps of above 205 degrees F. 2 winter trips on I-90 had temps at or close to 0 degrees F. Based on oil lab reports, the Rotella had no problem dealing with the temperatures.

I run synthetic because I'm a hippie and worry about all those poor dinosaurs getting killed just to put their decomposing little bodies in my mean ol' Cummins(seriously it lasts longer and I'm a lazy ass)
