best shocks for 6 inches of lift

does anybody know which shocks are the best to run on with six inches of lift? i have the normal rough country shocks that came with my kit. looking to upgrade for a smoother ride. I have heard of people running skyjacker shocks in rough country kits and they like it. are there any other suggestions?

and which model of the shocks from each brand?

It is a 2wd so i dont think 4x4 shocks will work or even mount the same if i am not mistaking... please correct me if i am wrong, since that'll make things a lot easier.

And Another question, do 4x4 rear shocks mount in the same way as the 2wd rear shocks?

Depends on what you're trying to spend, Fox shocks are my favorite but there are plenty of upgrades you can consider
