I've only known one person with an ATS transmission. Thing was badass out of the crate and hasn't given him any grief in the past ~20k miles. I hope ya have great luck as well!
I dont want to butt into the thread, but I am the kind of person that would like to DIY on something like this. Do they sell kits and manuals for this?
I have Goerand triple dics TQ converter .. I love it .
Buddy has a ATS and I dont really dig it .
My trans was built at Clinton Performance in Clinton Illinois . It has billit input and out put as well as billit internals . Its a tank , came with a 5 year warranty on parts and labor . 5k all said and done .
So far so good I have 0 problem .
They really are not that hard to build,if you have built a 727 or 904 in the past you can build a 47RH/RE or a 48RE with the parts to last.
Warranty will then be yours to handle and other than the converter nothing will have any.
There is alot to be said for the shops who do build them and run them on their test stands making sure the entire assembly is correct before you have it shipped to you.
