Biggest tire on stock 20x8s

This has probably been answered many times but im looking for the biggest tire i can put on my stock 20x8 rims. Truck has a 2.5in level in the front. I know 35s will fit height wise but im not sure how theyll fit width wise on the stock rim. Any suggestions or input would be awesome.

probably 35-11.5-20 I think a 12.5 would fit the rim but would rub on the inside upper control arm....guess you could run a spacer?

You'll need a spacer to keep from rubbing. The alternative is a new set of wheels with a different offset.

I went with a 275/65 20. 34 inch tall and only about an inch wider. I really wanted to put on 35s but didnt want to risk a spacer or buy different wheels.

Not to hijackl this thread but I take it I'd be able to fit 37x12.5s on my stock 20 x 8 rims with a spacer. Correct?

I'm wondering the same. Planning to do a level and get taller tires on the stock 20" wheels. 35X12 seems to be a popular combo but I think it might be too wide for stock wheels. My current tires are 275/60/20 which are 10.8" wide.

Any cupping issues running such a wide tire on an 8" rim??
