Hey Guys,

Just bought a used one of these off a member. Has the zbracket and fittings.

Just curious when I looked at the Billet Technologies website it says the ZBracket will NOT fit with the 2007-2016 vehicles... am I reading this wrong... most of you all use the zbracket from what I have seen.

Thanks

Nevermind.. that was just on the catch can link itself. When I looked specifically for our gen 4 ram it has the bracket.

Thanks anyway!

I was fixing to add that my 2015 has a z-bracket. Billet Technologies makes a great catch can!

This reminds me that I have a Moroso catch can with a drain valve from my previous vehicle I need to sell...

Can't wait for it to get here.

Did the switch to synthetic and doing the change this weekend. Hoping it is here then when I do it.

Different topic but for a filter (mopar one cause K&N was rediculious and they didn't have a mobil 1 there) and mobil1 5w-20 we are talking like 60 bucks. Jesus.. used to be a car guy this is my first truck.

yeah... the price of the oil changes get you when you are dealing with 7 or 8 quart changes. Good thing is, these days, you can stretch a little more mileage out of your oil. I get my M1 filters at oreilly's when they have their sale's. I usually pick up 4 of them.

Crazy thing is, my wife's Malibu uses the same filter that my 5.7 hemi does...

Thats awesome on the filter...

I actually just grabbed 7 quarts of Mobil 1 the other day as it has always been my go-to brand and then I just read on hear how most people stay away from it and stick with Penz. as its recommended.

Did some further research... and looks like FIAT is in bed with Shell... and thats why they recommend the Shell (Penz. Oil) brand for that certification..

Still torn now on if I should use the Mobil 1 or go exchange it for Penz Fully Synthetic.

Went with the Mopar filter as Wally World only had Mopar, K&N and Fram... and I hate Fram... and I'm not paying 18 dollars for a filter.

I decided on RP for my oil. Its pricey but I read good things about it.

Generally, you will get TONS of differing opinions on oil. Some say that it runs great in their truck, others say it blew their motor.

I don't think you will go wrong either way. But, I have read a lot of threads praising Pennz Platinum and Ultra.

I ran M1 in my Chevy's for years without any issues.

I just like how RP is purple. :)

I really like the Royal Purple. Since I've made the swap my engine runs a lot quieter. As for performance I have no opinion haha.

Just wanted to post props to Billet Technologies... The guy I bought the can from used his own screw.. and didn't have the spacer for the zbracket.. so after install, couldn't get the bottom of the can off because it was to close to the engine.. (almost everytime I buy something used some weird sh*t happens because things are missing) .. anyway called them up to order the spacer.. they sent it to me free... even though I didn't buy it new from them.

That is awesome customer service right there!
