Do the Bilstein 5100s last longer than the factory shocks? Apples to apples comparison.

I believe that they have a lifetime warranty. Not sure what that means as far as real world longevity though.

my take

have had bilsteins on my Dakota, 03 2500 diesel, 04 hemi 2500, 06 2500 diesel, and a lot of my cars (mostly saabs) and have liked them very much. they ride a little more firm than stock and have no adjustment for dampening. they will last forever (warranty aside). great truck shock and they seem to be everyones choice. i just wanted the flexibility in damopening, that's why i went with rancho.

would recommend the bilsteins to anyone who wants a good truck shock for a reasonable price.

That's what I figured, guys. Thanks alot. They are getting installed today and I was just wondering how durable they were because I drive on some pretty crappy lease roads every day and beat my shocks etc up. I'd like to thank Matt at Moe's once again for super fast shipping.
