Putting my bilsteins on my ram 1500 outdoorsman this weekend. Now gotta figure out tires, I'm getting fuel vapour D569's but got to decide on a tire and tire sizes, want an aggressive looking tire, but also want to have good tread wear and possibly not a very loud tire, but most of all an aggressive longer lasting tire. any help would be great, thank! anyone with pictures with there truck leveled and tires would be awesome

You will get the same info here. Everyone has their favorite. My 35" Coursers were cheap, but they look good, medium noise level, are wearing even, and don't chunk in the rocks.

It's about the same thing as asking someone what your favorite color is.

Good read here if you haven't seen it:

What is your driving style? Snows? Rain a concern? Do any off roading? What type of terrain? Or do you just want something that "looks cool"?

GO 34's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you're gonna stick with just the Bils grab a set of 275/65/20's in whatever flavor you like. I would have done the same had I not wanted my truck lifted

i did my bilsteins at 2.8 and went with a 285/70/17 which is close to a 33 but not exact... the guy at the shop i got them from said any bigger wouldnt fit but at the time i didnt have the bilsteins...but come to find out as i bought the truck used when i had the bils installed the shop told me it had a level in it..i know the trx4 and outsdoorsman sit a little higher so idk if i ****** up and they removed the stock leveling spacer i dont believe it comes stock but i could be wrong anyways for tires i went with a hercules terra trac at2... good all terrian tire and quiet on the highway. I eventually would like to do a body lift at some point so i would probably go bigger a 35 probably... but a level with 285 is good for me atm hope it helps a little

If you are raising it up a little, go bigger.

33s are stock with the 20s.....

That's true, Im thinkin 34's as the outdoorsman is stock 31 inch tires or around that, what's everyone's fuel Milage like with the bigger tires, not a concern considering I bought a truck, but wouldn't mind gettin decent Milage

I got mine set at 2.8, but I had a horrible factory rake. I put Nitto Trail Grapplers 295/60/20 on the factory 20's. I believe they are 20x9. Changed the whole look of the truck!

Go 34s. 275/65/20 is what I have, but mine are set to 2.1. I may go little wider next time. As for the tire, sounds like you don't want an MT. Good ATs include Nitto Terra Grapplers, General Grabber AT2s, BFG All Terrain KO2, Toyo AT2. Those are some of the more popular. I like the Nittos, they haven't done me wrong yet and we've had a couple of good snow falls. Next time I'm going with the Grabbers, they're on the cheaper side and are rated for Extreme winter.

This is me on 285/75/17. I haven't adjusted my coil overs down so I'm only 1 inch higher than stock. I lost about 1.5 mpg after the wheels and tires so I[m down to 20!

Damn Mauz I like your setup. I'd have to get some fiberworx though to be able to fit my 35's with that set up though.
